Dr. Jay Taylor
Dr. Jay K. Taylor was born and raised in Fargo, ND. Following graduation from Fargo North High School, he majored in chemistry at N.D.S.U. Jay attended Dental School at the University of Iowa, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1993. He received his specialty in Endodontics from Louisiana State University in 1995. Dr. Taylor received board certification in 1999. In 2004 Governor Hoeven appointed Dr. Taylor to the ND Board of Dental Examiners, North Dakota’s dental regulatory agency.
Dr. Taylor lives in the lakes region of Minnesota with his three children. He enjoys hunting, golf, the MN lakes area, and fishing.
Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, ND’s Southeast District Dental Society, ND State Board of Dental Examiners, American Association of Dental Examiners, American Board of Endodontics, College of Endodontic Diplomats, and the Central Region District Testing Service (CRDTS).
Dr. Mikaela Hazard
Dr. Mikaela Hazard was born in Oakes, ND, where she graduated from Oakes High School. Following high school, she completed her undergraduate education at North Dakota State University, receiving a degree in Zoology with minors in Chemistry and Business Administration.
Dr. Hazard earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and she transitioned directly into the graduate endodontics program at Iowa, graduating in 2019. She has extensive training in surgical and nonsurgical micro endodontics. Dr. Hazard plans to submit her research for publication in the coming months.
When not practicing endodontics, Dr. Hazard and her husband, Nick enjoy spending time with friends, family, and their dog, Rory. They also enjoy traveling, spending time at the lake, and cheering on the NDSU Bison and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She is very excited to return to Fargo and make the community her home.
